Why Choose Avalon School of Music ?
Music lessons in-person, or online via Zoom
Our philosophy on teaching:
We believe music lessons should be fun!
We want to build strong relationship between student and teacher that lasts far beyond the lesson time frame.
Lessons are taught at the students own pace.
We listen to our students concerns, and help them overcome them.
Parents are welcome to sit in on all lessons.
Your instructor will provide homework after most lessons.
Students and parents meet with the instructor on a regular basis to determine the lesson plans for the student.
Musical goals play a large part in customizing a students lesson plans. You will learn what you want to play !
Students are encouraged to perform in recitals held twice per year.
What makes us different ?
Our instructors hold advanced degrees in music performance, music instruments, choir or have 20+ years performance experience. Each are hand selected for their experience, knowledge and great attitude.
Safe comfortable music school
We provide a large waiting room, and video monitoring in the studios for your child's safety. Instructors and staff are background and drug tested.
Our prices are very reasonable for the services we offer. We don't compete on price with stay-at-home teachers offering lessons from their home.
Books and Materials for sale
All of your music books and supplies you need for lessons are at the school for easy pickup.
Flexible lesson days & times
Take lessons according to your schedule. Start lessons anytime during the year. We teach 47 weeks per year.
Free First Lesson
Your first Meet & Greet Lesson is always free. We believe that you should enjoy being with your instructor, and that the student and instructor have a good relationship.
We're taught over 3,000 students in the past 15 years, and we'll provide over 15,000 lessons this year. Most of our students come to us by recommendations from your local neighbors and friends.
Music lessons are our sole focus
Unlike music stores, stay-at-home teachers, part-time student teachers, or the faceless internet based teaching groups, all we do is teach music lessons full-time, in-person, to your student.
